Always Delightful
Always Delightful
| This singer is my all-time favorite Korean artist and I pre-order her CDs far in advance because I have no doubt they will be amazing. This is no exception. Her CD "Vol. 4 Gift" is probably my favorite CD by her EVER, but this new release is outstanding in it's uniqueness. In a Korean market dominated by dance, hip hop and rap...this singer stands alone with a guitar as her main instrument and her stunning, soft yet passionate vocals. This CD is relaxing and pure. It would be perfect paired with a summer night and a glass of wine. There is something about this singer's voice and music that washes over you leaving you cleansed and renewed. If you like peaceful music (I compare her style to American singer Natalie Merchant or Sarah MacLaughlin...although her voice is closer to Sarah's because she is a soprano) that is not boring and always has something to say without being preachy...buy music from this singer. This CD is an excellent place to start. It's more varied musically than "Gift" (which is all ballads), but doesn't stray far from this singer's style and comfort zone. A MUST HAVE for any special night, or even to play in those single quiet moments... |
