i loved this drama series..it's my second favorite season series after Winter Sonata. I didn't think it was slow at all. the director just wanted his audience to be able to enjoy the scenery. if the series is rushed, it takes away from the overall effect.

the story was beautiful and full of romance. if people think it's far-fetched, so what? when i sit down to watch something, i don't want to watch something stressful...i want to watch something that will take away my worries and make me feel happy. and that's just what this drama did.

i liked how the main characters were rarely apart..it'd always tear me apart whenever Yujin and Joon Sang would get separated (which was quite often in the story!!). this series had many lovely moments shared by the protagonists.

another good thing was the music of this series. i think that's the main reason why i liked this series so much. the music was completely appropriate for the storyline and really enhanced the feelings the actors were trying to convey.

all in all, i'd definitely recommend this series for everyone.

I like the story. It was a good idea.
But the cast wasn' t good for me. It' s not their acting but the traits their character becomes. The main Heroine was too fragile, and she' s always crying, everyone loves her too much to hurt her, she' s always the innocent victim... I didn't like that.
The story is so slow. Nothing major happens until the late episodes. Even so it still is so slow to watch. I was so relieved when it ended.
It wasn' t a bad drama, but it wasn' t special. There' s definately a lot of better dramas out there.

At first, I wanted to buy this VCD because I wanted to see Song Seung Hun. Luckily I didn't!

I like Song Seung Hun, but I have to say I didn't like him here. The story is unbelievebly slow. I wasn't very motivated to watch it, I had to cause it was rented. The actings were also very bland. I didn't like Son Ye Jin's character and Son Ye Jin herself. She's like someone who doesn't have energy to live. Although it's a beautifully done show, it lacks of story development. A show that can be done in 10 episodes or even less instead of 20 or something? It was romantic, but honestly I didn't hope that SSH's and SYJ's characters to get together in the end. I was even disappointed that they had a happy ending. It's just -SSH's and SYJ's characters blindly in love feelings and knowing they'll hurt their other partners feelings by doing so - scenes all the time, which got very boring. It's not romantic, compared to All In and Stairway To Heaven.

I have to say this show is only for die hard SSH fans, not for everyone.

Song Seung Hun & Son Yae Jin Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This drama has a great story line, however it is a bit slow and the author drag on the part that is not needed and shorten the part that is needed to expand. For example, they should expand the ending more. Min-Woo thought that Wae-Yin died already, so when they met at the end, he should of say something and they should at least have some happy moments before the movie end. Because for the entire movie, most the time they're together they had to encounter were awkwardness and guilt, they never had a true happy moments. Also I think Song Seung Hun and Son Yae Jin are great on-screen couple. They both can really act. Both of them are beautiful and very attractive. For most other k-dramas they don't really match up the lead actor and actress. I'm waiting to watch Song Seung Hun again with Son Yae Jin.

This was a beautiully done movie. However, it was slow and very long. I loved it but I didn't like it as much as "All In". I was good but I don't know if I could watch it again.

Beautiful in every way... Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I thought this drama was beautiful, especially the scenery and the music. The director definitely know how to get the actors to fit the dramas. Everyone in this series fit so well for their parts. I have seen most of the actors in other dramas. They are always very good and convincing. That is why we can cry and laugh watching these.
Song Seung Hun has most expressive face. I love his eyes. Loved his part in Autumn Story and I saw his two episodes of Sad Love Story which he didn't get to finish due to military duty. I didn't like his look for that part...too rough and shabby.
By the way he as couple of CDs out and he sings pretty good.
The music for this series is so beautiful and romantic.
Watch this drama...definitely worth watching.

Man.. this series is so emotional... the acting is also very good especially the main characters Song Seong Heon and Son Yae jin.. they really do have a great chemistry that will captivate anyone who watches them..

All together the storyline, acting, scenery and the mood of the drama, i rate it 5 stars...

Anyone who loves a deep and touching drama, this is a must... Y'all must see Summer scent....

Heart over Mind Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Great drama that tells story about dilemma of Heart over Mind of a young woman. Soul of her casual aquaintance inter-twind her into unbreakable bind and trial of separation. Message of fate is too strong in this fairy tale show. In modern world, aren't we all existentialist?
