This series was alright. I finished the whole thing in 3 days. It was interesting, but thinking back, it was boring @ points. It's definitely really aggravating w/ the two characters. You absolutely didn't know what the main character was thinking.

The cast did a better job compared to MG cast. They definitely have more expressions. :) The other thing that adds more stars to this series is the soundtrack. They really pick good songs - although I wish that they use Faye Wong's version instead of the Japanese version of "Wo Yuan Yi". That's okay though. The storyline is acceptable. I really enjoyed episodes # 1-14.These episodes have great flow. However, towards the end, I feel that the story rolls too fast and the ending is "too easy". It's almost like they either ran out of story or budget. The side stories were weaved in too lightly also, it's almost like as if they think "might as well add it to use up the tape". If only they make an extra effort to give the side stories more strength, then this series definitely deserves a 10. Roy Qiu is definitely a better singer than any of the F4 and I wonder why he is not as famous. :) Regardless the flaws, this series is still worth buying cuz it's highly entertaining.

Sweet Drama and Beautiful Sets Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I enjoyed this sweet drama. I particularly liked
Rainie Yang and Qiu Ze. Love to see more of them.
I first saw Rainie in "Tomorrow". I liked her and
all the young actors in it. This one is no exception.
Everyone did a decent job. I like Qiu Ze (Roy Chu)
very much. He has a great face, so good looking
and sincere. He is perfect playing a cute, reserved
and a little sad young man. Apparently he is also
a very decent singer.
Hope to see and to hear him more in the near future.
Go Roy!

I loved this series. It was sweet and simple. The end dragged on a bit longer than one would've wished, with many repeated scenes but all in all it was amazing. This is probably one of my favorite Chinese series. somehow the simplicity made me smile. I love both Rainie and Qiu Ze. They are great actors and I really like Qiu Ze's voice. Ah Ri in this series is incredibly endearing, one of those sweet, considerate guys that girls are always looking for. And Pan Pan was really cute as well. I really recommend this to everyone!

This movie is very very good. the story lines is good, the casting is excelent. And the Guys is very cute, especially Roy. The scenery in this movie is probably the best out of all the other taiwan movies. The white sands, the blue ocean, underwater scenery, everything is so great. If everyone have time, I think you should watch it, I know you'll love it once it start.

I started watching this show without too many expectations, since it seemed like it was just another idol series. It's actually really sweet and has better acting done than in many other taiwanese dramas I've seen. It's a little slow-paced sometimes, but it gives it a more real quality. Not over-the-top dramatic, just a more real show with characters we can get into.

Better than Meteor Garden!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I just love this drama! The BEST Taiwanese drama ever! Even BETTER then Meteor Garden! And the stars of the drama; Rainie Yang (4 in Love) and Roy Chiu are like one of the most loving couples ever! They beat Jerry Yan and Da S, that's for sure! And Roy is SO much better looking than Jerry and the rest of F4! And Rainie is as cute as ever! Both did really well in it!
I really like the storyline very much, and I like most of the characters (well, ALL of the GOOD characters anyway ^_^), there was very few characters I disliked; that rich guy who was in love with Pang Pang (Rainie) and wanted to still her away from Xia Ri (Roy) and threaten to destroy Xia Ri's life, I absolutely HATE him! Since he is like the only bad character in the drama...wait, there was also his assistant, yeah, I hate him too! But apart from these 2 characters, I like the other characters, however Rainie and Roy's characters I love the most! And I also like that young actor who played Xia Ri's younger brother, even though he is only a young boy, but he is a very handsome young boy, just like his "brother" Xia Ri! Roy is like one of the MOST hottest and handsome guy I have ever seen! Even HOTTER than Vic Chow (F4)! I absolutely love this drama and the casts were great, also the theme song is great too, I love listening to it! ^_^ I bought the VCD and the DVD of this drama! I would definitaly recommend this drama to ALL drama fans! ^_^

Most Taiwan Drama seem boring at first but they get better. I enjoyed this series but in other peoples point of view I wouldnt think they would feel the same way. Anyhow, the story is based on a island. All of the actors probably had to get tans at the shopping shop to look like that. I didnt like the intro and ending because it didnt have clips for the next scene....kinda low budget.. I went back to taiwan and bought the Summer Scent Soundtrack which basically contains every song the series had....even the melodys....

I am surprised to be the first to comment ~ and I am also surprised to have found this series to be released in 2004! Hehe...
I just saw it on T.V, and being a 'quarter' Rainie Yang fan (cuz i find her cute) I decided to catch up and watch it. I have to say it is very good~!
I'm loving the series. Very cute and quite original. Haven't seen a Taiwan series quite like it.
I totally love the music in the series. What surprised me was that my t.v. station actually broadcasted 2004 series - very updated, very new. I am taken by surprised but I am VERY happy!! I am in love with this series... mainly the music and the storyline so far... I'm no big fan of the guys in the series cuz I have to admit I've seen better - but than again.. I've seen worst...
^.- Check it out guys! It's a lovely summer series, very sweet, cute and .... not bad~! IT's worth seeing at least...
