松本清張の名作を中居正広＆渡辺謙でドラマ化。高視聴率を記録した話題作！

松本清張の推理小説「砂の器」を原作に、2004年1月からTBS系列で放映された人間ドラマを、BOXでリリース。主演に中居正広と渡辺謙を迎え、殺人事件を追うベテラン刑事と、暗い過去と殺人という罪を背負った天才音楽家を描く。脚本は「白い影」の龍居由佳里、演出は福澤克雄という強力タッグ。原作や映画は刑事の視点から語られていたが、本作は深い宿命を背負った男・和賀英良の視点から物語を追っていく。映像特典として、メイキングが収録されている。
大ホールで喝采を浴びる、人気ピアニストの和賀英良。コンサート終了後、車に乗り込もうとした和賀は、「秀夫！」と呼び止める声に気づく。その名前は、とうの昔に抹消したはずだった。和賀の過去を知る三木は、和賀に病床の父親に会いに行くようにすすめ、和賀の過去を掘り起こすように何度も彼の本当の名を繰り返す。耐え切れなくなった和賀は、ついに三木を突き飛ばしてしまうのだが…。

wanna to ask what does it contain in this dvd set box. is there any key ring go with it?? and does it go with a booklet etc? please tell us what does the dvd set box go on with?! I believe this drama gives people a very different feeling from other dramas~!

I'm still watching it now. There's the best picture, best music, best atmosphere, and the best theme! Nakai's acting is the best, too. It is truly different from the other common Japanese dramas. It doesn't have too much talking, but the music's flowing through all the scenes. It is the best sad and touching drama so you have to watch it!
