With this version, I was hoping for a more fresh, young appeal and was greatly disappointed. Why Charlene Choi? She can't act. Worst of all, the girl can't even cry. The storyline deserves better than this. It's such a haunting, beautiful tale and it was all ruined by poor acting skills, poor editing, poor everything. It was slow, very slow, but that's expected since there are over 100 episodes still coming. The point is, I'm hooked, so I'll be buying the rest of this TV series.
- English is YA quality. It's always good.
- 30 minute episodes are more than grand! I love it!

February 16, 2008 Palace / Princess Hours reviewPalace is a drama that I've watched and will watch over and over again. I'm not a big fan of dramas with more than 12 or 16 episodes, but the storyline between the two main characters held out through 24 episodes. Yoon Eun-Hye does a great job with her character. It's believable and lovable even. Joo Ji-Hoon's character was intense, but he's able to pull at your heartstrings and draw out your empathy. The make-believe world of Palace is similar to that of the real world. The drama is entertaining and will keep you glued to the TV from beginning to end. Did you find this review helpful?
