Scandal garnered good sales and reviews for their singles and debut album last year. 2010 sees the girl rock band return with the beat-injected rock number Syunkan Sentimental, the end title theme of the TBS anime series Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Scandal's fifth single also features the side tracks Hoshi no Furu Yoru ni and Yume Miru Goro wo Sugitemo.

First Press Limited Edition comes in a cardboard CD cover and features the additional track Syunkan Sentimental (Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood ED Version).

This is the first CD I purchased (in my life). I like their songs because of their guitar skills and catchy vocal of Haruna in the previous songs. The first song in this single, 'Shunkan Sentimental', may be even better than SCANDAL BABY and Shoujo S. Its style is quite different from the others' because it is much more rocking and impressive. The other two songs are also of different styles. The opening of 'Hoshi no Furu Yoru ni' is funny and the chorus part is quite good. Yet the third song, 'Yume Miru Goro wo Sugitemo', is not as good as 'Yume Miru Tsubasa' as it may be too serious. I was surprised to get a booklet in the CD, though it is not thick at all. Worth-buying!

I bought this album simply because it is the ending theme song for Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood anime. It's a catchy tune; pretty much the same as Shoujo S. Rina's drum plays the main key in maikng the single successful. You will eventually be entranced with her drum skills plus Haruna's vocal. However, I'm dissappointed that Tomomi and Mami have little vocal contributio for Shunkan Sentimental. The video clip is also brilliant. As usual, Haruna and Rina looks good in their uniform. Unfortunately, I did not get the above cover. I only got the alternate cover. Well, I'm happy. The obi features the Elric Brothers, Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye.
