Finally Jet Li meets his Nemesis..

Very good story and great figting scenes.. Special honor too Chin Siu Ho (Tianbo/Chinbo), who plays the bad guy. Story about two young men who grows up together in a Buddhist temple. They both train harder and better then any else, and both becomes great gung fu fighter with special skills. But because of Tianbo's behavior they both get expelled from the school(temple). Life outside the temple is not easy and drift away from each other. One seeks fortune and power, the other inner peace and health. From bestfriends to deadly enemies. Who will win? the good side or the dark side? This movie are low budget but still a great movie to watch. Too bad that Jet Li wins again. |

it is a great movie
| I really agree with the others on this film its just simply amazing...but I prefer to watch the chinese version because in the english dubed version they took out the original musical score for the film and added a new one which I was disappointed, the original music sounded more cooler and is more suitedble for Jet Li's character, its like taking away the Wong Fei-Hung theme song and making up a new one, it totally killed it for me...well its still a cool movie but I pefer to watch the chinese version... |

As a Jet Li fan, I thought I would never see a film as good as Once Upon a Time in China... until now. This movie is great, the director is good and the fighting scenes are amazing, but the point which is, I think, the most important is that Jet Li plays a true role, and plays it well. If you like Jet Li, you MUST see it ! |

Just plain awesome!
| This is my favorite Jet Li movie. From the first time I saw it I was hooked. The martial arts is amazing. Good comedy bits in it too.. Get this is you want a really really good martial arts movie! |

Superb!!!!
| This is one of Jet Li's best movies he has done!! It has a decent plot, the fighting sequences & action was fantastic. Every Jet Li fan cannot afford to miss this. |
