i really respect jay chou as an artist and i think he is absolutely wonderful at the piano. playing piano myself i was really interested in watching this movie. i wasn't sure what to expect but i was pleasantly surprised after watching it. there are some parts where i thought it became a little slow, but for me, the beauty of the music and simple love story shined through ^____^Did you find this review helpful? October 16, 2008 great movie!!i really enjoyed watching this movie :) its filled with drama, suspense and tons of action. i really love these kinds of fighting/dramatic movies so it was very enjoyable. there weren't really any down times where it got boring and there always seemed to be something going on. it seems like its more of a guys movie but any girl who is into action will def. like this movie as well :) after watching it i will for sure buy it! this movie is high recommended (in my opinion ^___^) Did you find this review helpful? October 16, 2008 loved it!i really loved this drama :)
its a very sweet love story between two people who just want to be together despite their differences in culture.
i originally stumbled upon this short drama on accident when i was looking for a won bin movie and i ended up loving it!!
i bought it but if you need/want subtitles, you'll have to go through a different site.

im not too familiar with all this writing reviews and checking up on them and stuff. i saw that you wrote back a response to me in may..its oct now >___< im so sorry for the late reply. BUT although you prolly already found the answer to your question, unfortunately most japanese movies dont come with english subtitles :( i really dont know why. im japanese and i speak it so it don't need subtitles but its always nice to have for when my friends want to see the movie as well.
it sucks cause if i do want subtitles, i have to wait a few months until it comes out in different versions..like chinese, korean, etc.
i hope you were able to get the newer versions that have subtitles :D

April 20, 2008 yes!I really loved this movie! i haven't read the manga but I've watched some of the series on tv before. the storyline and plot are so interesting so it made me wanna watch this movie. it is so unique and creative. it also has a lot of twists and turns, it'll keep you guessing through the movie!

i REALLY REALLY LOVED this movie <3 at first i wasn't sure how i was gonna feel about it. i read the reviews and the theme of the story but i was a little unsure. but i am SO glad i got it :)
plus, i found out that this movie is based on the true life experiences of the actual girl who narrates parts of the movie..so that made it even better!
it really is a touching story and just shows you that our own lives really are just like the movies we see on tv!
