Touted as a new-generation version of the classic Police Cadet series, TVB's popular 2005 drama The Academy takes viewers back through the age-old, crowd-pleasing rituals of the police academy procedural. Top young actors Roy Ng and Sammul Chan star as two cadets with very different personalities, alongside starlet Tavia Yeung and pop singer Fiona Sit in her television debut. Of even greater draw than the young stars though was the return of Michael Miu. The 80s television icon makes his highly anticipated comeback as a tough academy instructor, now playing the senior to a new generation of stars but still looking as dashing as ever. The Academy also co-stars Michelle Yim, Waise Lee, Chin Kar Lok, Liu Kai Chi, and singer Deep Ng.

Instant rivals from day one, headstrong police cadets Chung Lap Man (Roy Ng) and Wai Pa Kiu (Sammul Chan) compete over every little thing, but they can agree on one matter - their mutual enmity for instructor Lee Man Sing (Michael Miu). Peeved by Lee's unreasonable training methods and harsh punishments, the two team up to plot revenge, gradually developing a close friendship along the way. Lap Man and Pa Kiu also encounter romantic interests in brassy canteen worker Fa (Tavia Yeung) and fellow cadet Oi Lam (Fiona Sit), a spoiled rich girl struggling to graduate. Over 27 weeks of grueling training, the willfulness of youth slowly but surely gives way to teamwork, discipline, and determination, and even Lap Man and Pa Kiu begin to understand Lee's tough love. But will Pa Kiu be so forgiving when he discovers that Lee is actually his father?

熱血青年 勇闖學警生涯

鍾立文(吳卓羲)為了要向警校教官李文昇(苗僑偉)報復而投考警察。李柏翹(陳鍵鋒)為了可觀的收入而加入警隊，沒料到其宿敵昇原來是警校教官。文與翹皆以昇為頭號敵人，二人一拍即合。

警校小賣部的替工何花(楊怡)對文有好感，然而她卻因為自己不光彩的家庭背景而不敢接受文。另方面，翹與同學馬藹琳(薛凱琪)的發展亦因為二人懸殊的家境而受阻。

地獄式的學警訓練讓文和翹明白到當警察的真正意義，他們與昇的關係亦漸有轉機。遺憾的是，昇卻未能看到文和翹畢業的日子……

CHUNG LAP MAN (NG CHEUK HAI, RON) applies for the job of police constable to take revenge on police training instructor LEE MAN SING (MIU KIU WAI). KEN LEE (CHAN KIN FUNG, SAMMUL) joins the police force for the attractive salary. He has no idea that his instructor will be none other than his ultimate enemy SING. MAN and KEN team up to fight against their prime enemy SING.

HO FA (YEUNG YI, TAVIA) is the temporary staff at the school kiosk. She likes MAN, yet she avoids him because of her shameful family background. Meanwhile, KEN and his classmate FIONA MA’s (SIT HOI KI, FIONA) relationship is also obstructed by their different family class.

The trainings are tough and intensive, but they at the same time have made MAN and KEN understand the true meaning of being a police officer. Their relationship with SING has improved too. Unfortunately, SING cannot live to see them graduate…
