YesAsia Editorial Description

Jackie Chan's 2001 action blockbuster The Accidental Spy takes you on a thrilling espionage adventure! Acclaimed director Teddy Chen (Purple Storm), award-winning scribe Ivy Ho (Comrades, Almost a Love Story), and veteran action director Stephen Tung Wai (Painted Skin) team up for this Jackie Chan spectacular, balancing over-the-top stunts with compelling drama and genuine humor.

The film puts Jackie Chan in the role of an ordinary sporting equipment salesman, Buck, who yearns for adventures around the world. His dream comes true when a private detective (Eric Tsang) tells him that his long-lost father is actually a former spy. As Buck sets off on a globetrotting mission to find the fortune his father left him, he meets a mysterious girl (Vivian Hsu) and is caught in the fight for a biochemical weapon against international terrorists.

Jackie is still my favorite Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I really enjoyed this film! My favorite scene in the film is when Jackie is in the patients room and has the sensor thing that gets your heart rate back when you r dead or knocked out. Anyway he uses it to fight off the bad guys then the bad guy gets caught between him and Jackie each having one of the sensors and they push it on each other. Their expressions are hilarious and is my favorite scene in the movie. Watch it and youll agree! Not his best but it is a really great movie!

Adventure, suspence, romance, of course stunts and fights. Jackie Chan is a good actor and he is surrounded by good actors too. lights, shadows, colors and musique are well used. That makes a movie with several parts and each of them with its particular tone. A great movie.
