From Cheng Chang Ho, the director of the cult classics King Boxer and Broken Oath, comes The Association (1974), the tale of an undercover cop trying to bust up an occult prostitution racket. Cheng takes this simple enough premise and runs wild with it, throwing in just about every genre convention imaginable. Blind kung fu masters, satanic rituals, go-go music, and generous amounts of flesh collide in this offbeat adventure that could only be a product of 1970s Hong Kong filmmaking. The film also features several famous faces from the era, including Tien Ni (Golden Lotus, Human Lanterns), Chao Lei (Enchanting Shadow, Madam White Snake), Angela Mao (Lady Whirlwind, Broken Oath), and a young Sammo Hung, who also directed the fight choreography.

While investigating the death of a young girl, Detective Wang stumbles across a shady welfare association that is actually a front for an international prostitution ring. Wang goes undercover in an attempt to nail the ringleader, and receives some unexpected help from a female martial arts master, who's out to avenge her sister's murder at the hands of the association. Wang is grateful for her assistance when their enemies prove to have more than a few kung fu warriors of their own.

黃天行是位疾惡如仇並身懷絕技的青島市名探。一次，在追捕竊賊時無意發現一具女屍。經調查後得知，乃一富家女，因在西洋集會所進行墮胎，手術失敗而致死。後黃查悉該女經常去仁愛福利會，便潛入查探。黃目睹會中荒淫醜事，正欲抓負責人淑子之時，遭暗襲。幸得一喬裝少女相助，終將淑子抓獲。事後，因受警衛隊長趙保成之壓力，只能將淑子釋放。黃於警局中認識了中央派來的女探員雷英，其便是救他之女子，亦為黃的師妹芳英之妹。芳英乃是女警，不幸為趙陷害而犧牲。雷英此次前來，一為收集不法組織的罪證，二為替姐姐報仇。黃於金行擒下大盜朱元魁，搜集證據時發現了趙鑄幣營私之證據，向局長報告，由雷英呈文中央政府將趙撤職查辦，趙終繩之以法。

Plain-clothes detective Wang is the best in his trade. One day he stumbles across a young girl's body who apparently is died of abortion. Wang investigates the guilty abortionist who leads Wang to a secret organization called "The Welfare Association". Actually it is an international prostitution racket. Wang sneaks into the association. When he is about to arrest the association's organizer, a girl, Lei, whose sister's death cause by the secret society, saves Wang in certain death. Wang arrests the organizer but has set her free from headquarter. Wang and Lei get together in getting the commander dismissed...
