Waise Lee stars as famous Hong Kong pulp hero Dr. Wesley (AKA: Wisely), whose expertise in the realm of the supernatural is tested when he hunts for a mysterious black cat that may be behind some unnatural happenings in Hong Kong. But what Wisely doesn't know is the cat is more than your average feline friend. The cat is actually on the run from an invading alien force that uses possession and scary gore tactics to get their way! It's up to Wisley to discover the means of stopping the cat, and no amount of cheesy special effects-induced horror is going to stop him! Director Nam Nai Choi returns to the character of Dr. Wisely, who was essayed by Chow Yun Fat in the campy action-horror classic The Seventh Curse. Waise Lee makes a more bookish, but no less effective Dr. Wisely than Chow Yun Fat, and the cheesy special effects possess a unique charm of their own! 　　李同因樓上時常發出噪音，當李同欲看個究竟，只見一個老人、一個少女和一頭黑貓，此後單位內卻留下一副貓的內臟。李同在一次聚餐中，向衛斯理講述這件事，衛斯理覺得是那頭黑貓的所為，他便和朋友位了一頭最優秀的狗去捕捉那頭黑貓，經過一場貓狗大戰之後，那頭貓斷了尾，經化驗後，發現那貓尾竟是來自一隻六十歲以上的貓，事情到此便更見怪異……

　　For ngihts, disturbing noise comes from an upstairs flat, Lee Don decides to go up and he sees there an old man, a young girl and a black cat. But Lee Don discovers the next day the flat is completely deserted. A cat's innards, however, are left behind.

　　Lee Don tells this to Wisely, famous for his adventures, Wisely suspects the black cat as the culprit. So he sets out to catch the cat with a very talented dog. The cat's tail is broken in a fight. Everybody is astounded when the laboratory reports the tail shows the cat is at least 60 years old but no cat ever lives that long......
