This is entertainment!
| The third film in the Shaw Brothers' 'Journey to the West' series presents a simpler story than its two predecessors, but is no less fun. Indeed, the memorable songs, the beautiful spider demons, the goofy special effects, and the opera-style action make "The Cave of Silken Web" a real treat. I recommend this film very highly, if you can find it. Why did the producers of this DVD go to all the trouble of restoring some of these old Shaw Brothers gems only to let them go out of print so quickly? This is a classic that should never be unavailable! |

Cave of the silken web
| One of the three Shaw classics based on the novel" Journey to the West". The 60's special effects, songs and Shaw stars Yu Quian had revived this classic-based movie. Superb. Impatiently await for the last of the three classics. |
