The Chase (VCD) (Hong Kong Version) VCD

One of Hong Kong's most prolific directors during the 1950s and 60s, renowned Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Tin Lam made over 300 films in a career spanning some thirty years. He is also known for his occasional acting outings, most notably in Johnnie To's Election series, and for being the father of almost-as-prolific director Wong Jing. One of his more recent works, Wong Tin Lam's action-packed 1971 swordplay film The Chase stars martial arts regular James Tien as wandering swordsman Shih Hai Lung. Armed with his coveted "blood sword", Shih is out to seek revenge for his father. He knows only that the Golden Gate Sect is connected with his father's death, but the sect has mysteriously disappeared from the martial arts world. On the road, Shih easily defeats some disciples from the Heavenly Dragon Sect who try to take his sword, but now the entire sect is after him.
