fun.. entertaining
| i like this movie. it was non-sensical at time but still entertaining. it is difficult for me to see Leslie in this movie and reconcile that this is the man who left us a few months ago. |

Light hearted comedy - not much of a story line
| If you like a very light hearted comedy, lots of exotic dishes to look at and you are a die-hard Leslie fan, then go for it. Otherwise, I don't think you will like this movie. Its silly and funny but could have been better. Leslie is great in this movie because he is 'out of character' in that he is playing someone that is uncouth, dishevelled and plain ol' silly. He still looks gorgeous though, not matter what. I loved it but only becoz I'm an eternal Leslie fan. |

Well made movie - worthwhile to watch
| If you enjoy food and Chinese exotic dishes, this is a great movie. This was my 4th Leslie Cheung movie and he acted so well. Too bad he is no longer with us. Vincent Zhao put in a good performance for the short scenes he was in. His contemporary look is handsome. Kenny Bee was very funny. Highly recommended. Even my 9 year old who doesn't understand Chinese loved it. |

What a feast...
| This film succeeds in many areas... 1) It made me laugh, 2) I really enjoyed it, and 3) It made so very very hungry. The food on display is VERY nice to look at, if only I could actually taste it! The dvd version is NOT 4:3 like the dvd, and this site state... it is in fact letterboxed to about 2:1. The subs are burnt in, and unfortunately very small, making reading them really quite difficult. Transfer is ok, but the film is great. |

very awesome!
| you'll drool everytime u see them cook! i did! good story.....good laugh....good cry....it shows chinese traditional cooking...also creativity.....on top of it all, there was a plot! moment of sadness, happiness....etc.....at points, also very touching......good family enjoyment! i love the director! |
