　　鍾馗之妹鍾情於男妓民，加上馗妹若再嫁不成工就永不能轉世投胎，馗與妹遂共盜生死冊，以尋法延餘三日命的民之命，並與判官大打出手，最後與三小鬼逃上陽間。

　　民不堪馗等人多翻纏擾，故偽裝改過，暗中卻找道士九欲收伏一干人；卻遇上鬼判，各人打作一團。最後，民被提到陰間，馗與妹藉九之助，回地府救人。
　　Two Ghostbusters from the spirit world escape to earth in an attempt to preserve their chances for reincarnation. Taoist magic and martial arts action make an entertaining combination in this "ghostly" romantic comedy.
