Inspired by a Thomas Hardy's novel, The Claim is a story of love, struggle, passon and redemption, set against the harsh landscape of the Rocky Mountains. In the quest for a fortune, a young man, Dillon (Peter Mullan) makes a fateful decison when he trades his wife and child for a sack of gold. Twenty years later, Dillon runs Kingdom Come, a thriving mining town in the mountains. But his world is threatened when the ghosts of his long forgotten past seek him out.
