TVB classic The Good, The Bad and The Ugly comes back to your television screen!
Superstar Chow Yun Fat portrays Cheng Wei who rises quickly in the Fu jewelry business after graduating from university. However, Wei loses everything when he uses company funds to pay the debts of his gambling-addicted mother. His sinister colleague Yuan Qi Chang reports the incident to the police at once. Wei is imprisoned and loses his lover, A Wen (Carol Cheng), who is the daughter of the company boss.
During his stay in jail, Wei makes friends with many triad members. After he is released from jail, Wei, through his connection with the crime world, gets the chance to work at another jewelry business where he again achieves remarkable results. Later on he hears that A Wen's father has passed away and that Chang is now in control of the Fu jewelry business and forcing A Wen to leave. Wei, unsure whether he is in love with the former TV star Ou Xiao Hua (Au Yeung Pui San) that he just met or his old lover A Wen, makes the climatic decision to stand up against the despicable Chang.

充滿自信的程緯（周潤發）大學畢業後，在玉福珠寶公司任職見習主任，由於表現出眾，遂獲晉升為分店經理，並與太子女方希文（鄭裕玲）熱戀。可惜，緯為替母親償還賭債，竟盜取公款，被野心勃勃的阮其昌（李道洪）揭發。緯無奈入獄，養家的重擔便落在剛從大陸來港的弟燦（廖偉雄）身上，而緯與文的感情亦告凍結。緯於獄中與黑幫頭目龍冠三結為好友，後緯獲假釋出獄，透過龍的介紹而進入一珠寶公司工作，成績卓越。
緯因緣際會認識了前電視明星歐曉華（歐陽珮珊），並成為情侶。此時，文父去逝，玉福股份由她繼承，但昌已控制公司，且欲逼她離開。文得老臣子指點邀緯復出，與昌對抗，終揭破他假公濟私及貪污的罪行。
緯與文二人餘情未了，頓時令緯陷入迷惘中，究竟誰才是他心中最愛？

THE GOOD,THE BAD & THE UGLY
| This is really a classic TVB drama in 1979 and have seen it on VHS video.If I'm not wrong this drama is 80 episodes or more.But this DVD format is only 46 episodes.That means some episodes are left out.Hence I recommend that if you really like this drama,buy the uncut version. |

waste of money
waste of money
| The original was one of my all time favorites but this item was a total waste of money. The characters are speaking the original language, which was cantonese and dubbed over with Mandarin at the same time. It is extremely hard to understand because you can't concentrate with both languages going at the same time. Unsuccessful attempts were made to return this item or exchange for something else was made.Those who purchased this item should get their money back because it was a total waste of money. |
