Rebounding from the cooly-received 2003 film Hulk, Marvel Studios again brings the gamma-irradiated green giant back to the big screens, with smashing results. Director Louis Letterier (The Transporter, Danny the Dog) brings his commercial sensibilities and a more action-oriented approach to The Incredible Hulk, resulting in an entertaining summer blockbuster than won approval from fans and critics alike. Edward Norton (Fight Club) headlines an all-new cast as Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a. the Hulk, along with Liv Tyler (The Lord of the Rings) as love interest Betty Ross, with William Hurt (A History of Violence) playing her father, General "Thunderbolt" Ross. Tim Roth (Pulp Fiction) plays the bad guy Emil Blonsky, a mercenary whose interest in the Hulk prompts him to undergo his own gamma radiation treatment, resulting in the Hulk's deadliest foe yet: the Abomination.

Now hiding in South America, Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) is closer than ever to finding a cure for his altered genetic structure, which sometimes makes him change into the rampaging green behemoth, the Hulk. However, the stakes have risen, as the U.S. Government, led by Banner's former ally, General "Thunderbolt" Ross (William Hurt), is intent on capturing Banner, hoping to exploit the Hulk to build an army of government super soldiers. Mercenaries led by the remorseless Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth) are dispatched, and Blonsky agrees to gamma radiation treatments to make him equal to the task of taking down the Hulk. But Blonsky's desire for power is self-serving, and his transformation proves disturbing and dangerous, turning him into an evil and destructive creature called the Abomination. With human lives at stake, Bruce Banner must try to tame the beast within him, unleashing the Hulk willingly to take down the Abomination once and for all.
