The Kingdom of The Winds OST (KBS TV Drama)

Jumong lead Song Il Kook stars in an epic period drama again in 2008, this time playing Jumong's grandson! Based on a comic by Kim Jin, KBS drama The Kingdom of The Winds (a.k.a. The Land of Wind) centers around the exploits of Moo Hyul, or Daemusin, the third king of the Goguryeo Dynasty. This highly anticipated star-studded historical fantasy is directed by Emperor of the Sea director Kang Il Soo and written by Choi Wan Kyu (Jumong), Jung Jin Ok (Emperor of the Sea), and Park Jin Woo (Seoul's Sad Song). The Kingdom of The Winds co-stars Choi Jung Won (All In), Park Gun Hyung (When Spring Comes), and film actor Jung Jin Young (King and The Clown) in a rare television appearance.

With notable music director Lee Pil Ho (Beethoven Virus, Emperor of the Sea, Lobbyist, Dae Jo Young) holding fort, The Kingdom of The Winds OST strikes a winning combination of traditional instrumentals and modern pop songs. R&B ballad king Wheesung sings the theme song "Alive... Even in Death..." (Track 3), which is composed by hit-maker Park Keun Tae and written by Kang Eun Kyung. There are also songs from crooners Kyun Woo and Park Wan Kyu and Jea of popular girl group Brown Eyed Girls.
