In this CG effects-laden follow-up to the epic fantasy drama series The Legend and the Hero, the battles of good against evil and mortals against gods rage on in ancient China. This time, the central characters have been re-cast, with Hong Kong movie star Ray Lui replacing Steve Ma Jing Tao as the ruthless Emperor Zhou, who is bewitched by the foxy beauty Daji, now played by popular Taiwan singer/actress Ruby Lin. Leaving that infamous role is Mainland star actress Fan Bingbing, who makes a cameo appearance as Chang-o. Based on historical accounts as well as mythological legends, The Legend and the Hero II depicts King Wu (rising star Victor Huang in place of Zhou Jie) leading other feudal lords in an earth-shattering revolt against Emperor Zhou.

孟津城，姬發為君，姜子牙為統領大元帥，向朝歌進發。紂王荒淫無度，眾臣紛紛逃離朝歌。姜子牙取出胡桃木劍，擺下八封，九妖出戰，大敗。申公豹請來通天教主，擺下萬仙陣，決定徹底消滅姜子牙及闡教門人。姜子牙受阻，眾仙前來助姜破陣。鴻鈞老祖趕到，元始天尊將申公豹拿下，裝入囚籠，沉入大海。
姬發率軍圍住朝歌，紂王與姬發見面議和失敗。兩人相約，兩軍不借助任何神力進行一場決戰，於是在朝歌城外的牧野之地，一場永駐史冊的牧野之戰拉開戰幕……

English subtitles !!! I didn't know english sub DVD releasing so fast like this time!!! It is fantastic, I like the acting .... The acting was very credible, and the kung fu sequences were graceful and well executed.. I love all casts, they are absoloute perfectfection! And This version didn't just copy the old one. It had its own style to the story which i think is really good!! thumbs up =) |

Oh.......I heard the news english subbed DVD out soon....so happy...immediately visit this site!!! This series is fantastic. Not only every single actor and actress do great job, I love the storyline as well. I don't think adaptation series always same goes with original. Though not that much her scenes, as for me, Daji was definitely who stole the show. Can't wait english subbed dvd |
