Tony Leung Chiu Wai (In the Mood for Love) stars as a corrupt cop who has only one night to prevent a brewing gang war from erupting. Seeking a rumored hitman, he chances across a mysterious bald stranger (Sean Lau Ching Wan), who wanders into town with a suspicious bad slung over his shoulder. It looks like the cop may have his man, but there may be much more afoot than a simple case of attempted murder. A pretty good HK thriller

This is yet another great little thriller from Johnny Tos Milky way Production Company. While the story does seem to head off course midway through it soon pulls back together for a nice little twist at the end. Performances are all top notch as youd expect when lookign at the cast involved. While not the best HK film out there this is still worth a look particularly from fans of Johnny Tos other productions. On a side note the VCD as the smallest subtitles ever which makes it very difficult to read at times. |

Decent film
| Great acting performances from both Leung Chiu Wai and Lau Ching Wan, but story might be confusing to some. It's a decent film made from HK. Better than most of the crap out there. |
