故事的女主角家珮（甄珍）生長於一個保守封見的家庭，眼看父親為著八字的相合強迫自己的哥哥跟一個沒有感情的女子結婚，心裡滿不是味兒。一天，她自小傾慕的大哥哥∼登科從美國歸來，但經見面之後，卻發覺這位自小傾慕的大哥哥跟自己一直所幻想的有著很大的差距，失望之餘卻又發覺自己在不知不覺間對父親的養子∼陳堯（秦祥林）有著一種微妙的感情……

Meaningful & great ending
| Another great pairing with Zhen Chen and Charlie Chin. Revolves around Charlie's love for the salt fields and old way of living, and Zhen Chen who loves him. The two grew up together, and not until another suitor came for Zhen Chen did Charlie realize he loved her all along. Both did a fantastic job in the movie. There are funny moments so this is an all-round enjoyable movie. There are English subtitles, so this is a plus! |

Great Sense of Humour
| This movie is great! It's funny and also full of things happening from minute one til the end. A great performance by Chen Chen. At first a little bit nationalist, then more and more against the hypocrisy of a conservative world, this movie is the perfect choice for 82 minutes of fun! |
