YesAsia Editorial Description

Martial arts star Wu Jing is The Master of Tai Chi! Long before he found fame on the big screen with blockbusters like Invisible Target and SPL, Wu Jing made his beginning steps into the entertainment industry with this period drama. Co-directed by renowned filmmaker and action choreographer Yuen Woo Ping, the 1997 drama The Master of Tai Chi is Wu Jing's first television drama, marking the start of this humble martial artist's star-making journey. Appropriately enough, The Master of Taichi is also the story of a journeyman, following the protagonist's transformation from willful kung fu novice to respected tai chi master.

Under his father's (Shing Fui On) strict training, Yang Yuqian (Wu Jing) has been conditioned to study martial arts since he was a child. In order to live up to his father's expectations, he travels from Hebei to the capital city in hopes of finding a teacher. Yang vows to not return home until he has mastered kung fu, but his reckless bravery gets him into trouble in the big city. When he tries to lend a helping hand, he ends up getting beaten by a group of ruffians and getting saved by a woman (Kara Hui). Impressed by the fluid strength of her fighting, Yang realizes he's found his calling: tai chi.

JACKY WU (Yuen Wo Ping's TAI CHI II) is the famous Yang, master of the Tai Chi Fist, in this rousing kung fu epic television series. Born to a family of martial artists, Yang's weak body structure prevented him from fulfulling his father's wishes to become a Kung Fu master. Undeterred, Yang travels to the capital, where he meets Chan, a Tai Chi instructor. When Chan refuses to teach Yang, he vows to develop his own style of Tai Chi Fist, and use it against corrupt officials and evil tyrants. With brilliant fights and stunning scenery, THE MASTER OF TAI CHI is one of the finest martial arts TV series ever made.

The Master of Taichi Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
My first impression about the Taichi Master was excellent for viewing, now you have 35 episodes that would broaden the entire movie itself, my question is, how come you do not have this on English subtitle??
