Director Wilson Yip revisits the territory of his acclaimed horror-comedy Bio-Zombie in The Mummy, Aged 19, a new horror-comedy starring the popular Hong Kong boy band Shine! Tin Yau (Tsui Tin Yau) is a layabout high-school grad with a sickeningly wholesome family. Determined to spend as much time away from them as possible, he takes a job as a night watchman at a residence full of bizarre and sometimes creepy artifacts. Two of the artifacts are dormant mummies - but not for long! One of them goes free and starts to inhabit Tin Yau's body, leaving it up to pal Nam (Wong Yau Nam) and pretty archaeology student Priscilla (Tiffany Lee) to save him. But when a wacky priest (Wyman Wong) reveals the greatest weapon of all - love - only Tin Yau's family can save him! Tongue-in-cheek comedy and a fun irreverence punctuates The Mummy, Aged 19, a horror-comedy that's slyly sweet, devilishly funny, and all entertaining!

Tien-you takes on a job as a security guard in an old mansion. On the first night he takes his friends Nam and Pricilla with him to the mansion. They discover a real Mummy stored under the house basement, which Tien-you breaks accidentally. The next day, Tien-you finds to his horror that his body is being dried off, and is transforming into a mummy……

Ridiculous

hahaa...this movie is soooo ridiculously funny. I like it. Bring out msg and all those punch lines. It's so great. However, I still don't like the way they present Christainity in this movie. It's still worth to watch. Light, funny, happy movie, kinda relieve stress. |

Entertaining and Shine are so cute

It is a good movie though , it stress about love within family and friendship ......It is a rare movie in Hong Kong ............although the way they expressed it is kinda childish ...but it has a special way of expressing it and Shine are cute in the movie !! |
