Hon Kin, head of the police's Organized Crime Division, has been pushed to the edge by a triad boss intent on killing him. In a fit of fury, Hon embarks on a violent rampage that ends tragically. With the very existence of the Special Duty Unit(SDU) now in jeopardy because of the aftermath, Commander Stone (Michael Wong) must make up his mind and decide on SDU's future.

* Yawn! * Is it over yet? From what I've read about other Michael Wong films, this is his typical work: Filmed with a digital cam-corder, with lots of boring filler scenes (here stretched out with excessive use of dramatizing slo-mo's throughout the ENTIRE feature), and Michael Wong confusing not just the audience but also his co-stars and himself with his promenent use of English in a non-English-speaking environment. Also, there are no subtitles, not that it would have made any difference; this movie is more half-speed slo-mo than dialog. The moral of this fable: Avoid any film that stars Michael Wong in a lead role. |
