　　1939年，二戰爆發，當時只得27歲的華迪拉史標曼Wladyslaw Szpilman (艾哲倫保迪飾演)被譽為是波蘭最頂尖的鋼琴家，當德國空軍的飛彈擊落波蘭國營電台那一刻，收音機在播放的正是史標曼彈奏的「蕭邦夜曲升C小調篇」。身為猶太人的史標曼，與家人隨即被押解到華沙的強制性猶太人區。在納粹德軍控制下的華沙街道上，史標曼苟延偷生，以在夜店演奏維生， 可是，最恐怖的時候終於來臨，史標曼跟成千上萬的同胞被勒令登上前往集中營火車……就在此時，他得到一名德國軍官荷西夫Hosenfeld (湯馬士祈舒曼飾演)的幫助，成功避過集中營一役，還在六年的戰火中熬過來。
　　Wladyslaw Szpilman, a Polish Jew, a celebrated composer and pianist, played the last live music heard over Polish radio airwaves before Nazi artillery hit. During the brutal occupation, he eluded deportation and remained in the devastated Warsaw Ghetto. There, he struggled to stay alive even when cast away from those he loved. He would eventually reclaim his artistic gifts, and confront his fears, with aid from the unlikeliest source - a German officer who helped him hide in the final days of the war.

In my opinoin ,THE PIANIST is the best film .I had see
many films ,but none of them are better than it .
And Adrien Brody is the best ator for THE PIANIST ,none can instead of.

This is one of the best movies of the year. No wonder it has won 3 Academmy Awards!
The movie is based on true events, the acting, the cinematography and of course the music of Chopin are absolutely gorgous. Highly recommended!
