Idols from the Jungiery Star Office join forces to present the romantic TV series The Prince Who Turns into a Frog! Starring Taiwanese idols such as Matt Lin (a.k.a. Ming Dao), Sam Wang, and Chen Chiao-en, the TV program achieved enormous popularity when it was broadcast in Taiwan. The rating reached as high as 8.05 and it achieved an average of 7.09, both breaking the record maintained by the blockbuster Meteor Garden starring F4.

Chen Chiao-en is Tien-yu, a poor girl living in a village. She has always longed to marry a prince charming who should be handsome and rich. Fate brings her Jun-hao (Matt Lin), but she does not recognize him as the General Manager of the Senwell Hotel Corporation. Tien-yu soon meets Jun-hao again, but he is now suffering from amnesia... Will Tien-yu falls in love with a prince who turns into a frog?

this is one of my top favorites for all of tawainess love story, it seems tawainess love series is for young love, this movie is funny ming dao is cute in here one of the movies u want to watch over and over again just to entertain for a fun loving day,

This is one excellent show. So many times, lately, I pick up a show and cannot finish watching it. But this is one show that is able to keep my interest. The credit definitely goes to the writer. I found the story entertaining . Definitely not medically correct (case in point: blood transfusion by mistake) but who cares? At the end of the day, I just want some show that makes me laugh and cry yet feel warm and fuzzy. I don't know any of these actors at all but found them all very good. The best of them is Chen Qiao En. I think she is pretty and an excellent actress. I have heard of Mind Dao and thought he looked very ordinary in the newspaper but he sure looks a lot better on TV.
Both stories are about amnesia but this story is definetely better than F4's Meteor garden (2) even though I like F4

I must have missed something, because I really thought this was a great taiwan series. However ,after the GREAT, FUNNY, REFRESHING first half of this series, everything went PUFFFFFFF!... I dont know what happened but the scrpit failed me in the end. I guess the frog died?????????? anyway, if you want fantastic nerve-wracking taiwan series--go for GOD MARS!!! wow!

This is the best movie Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
this movie is romance, funny, and sad at the same time. The actors are also cute and hot thier in a band call 183 club thier songs are in there too. Thier songs are really nice. Who ever watch this movie will be happy to watch it this is the best movie ever.

does anyone know the difference between the china version and the us version? i can't decide which one to get...cause the one i watched was the one on tv...and it only had 19 episodes...but both china and us has different amount of episodes...so which one is better?!

also...i've seen on youtube scenes that i've never seen before...which is the main reason why i wanna buy a copy...anyone know which one is the uncut version?!

btw...this series was SUPERB...which is why i wanna buy it to own a hardcopy! i'm not a critic, but i really liked the acting...the chemistry between the two characters...and the PLOT is probably the best part of it. some may say that their acting is mediocre (which i disagree with), but whether the acting is bad or not...i totally enjoyed the series and have watched it a billion times JUST because the plot is good. one of those that make your heart ache. (=
