Not entirely impressed Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Eh… I was kind of disappointed with this one, which is sad, as I loved Gran Sonik and Astromantic Charm School so much. I think it’s how the remixes concentrated more on the beat, and less on the melodies and lyrics. Which is a shame, because the songs remixed on this album really were some of M-Flo’s most creative and unique. I’m sure it’s mostly just due to the choice of remixers, though. Still, in spite of my misgivings as to the approach most of them seemed to take to the music, I still had a few tracks I liked a lot. I enjoyed the remixes of Come Back To Me (nice almost vocal trance feel), Ten Below Blazing (pretty danceable, in fact), and Chronopsychology.

Disappointing... to say the least Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
This album should've come with a warning. - The sweet melodies that make Lisa one of the best singers is gone on almost every song in favor of heavy drum and bass. - It's sad that Taku let his genius melodies get crushed on nearly every cut. I guess the remixers realized that the m-Flo sound didn't groove well with drum and bass, and the only way they could make it work was by destroying the original song altogether.
I hope the "Gran Sonik" producers stay closer to the original songs on "Expo Expo." Another annoying feature of this albums is the use of instrumentals in place of what was a "real" songs on Planet Shining. What's up with that? We bought this album to hear Lisa, singing and Verbal, rapping. This itself is a total travesty that takes away from what few gems (Ten Below Blazing) this album has. Still, 4 stars is right b/c this is... m-Flo: the defacto standard in J-Pop.

one of the best remix albums i have heard Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I wony try to go through the interludes(they are not songs, but listen to them anyway first time you hear them it is really funny) Anyway.
First trck is Quantum Leap DJ Watarai Remix.
This song is really good but it was on the Quantum Single. The next song is Planet Shining, the beat is really nice and energetic. In saywhatchugotta, the rapping is nice. They also added in new vocals too so that is even better. The Been so long, the remix makes the song sound faster. I really like this song, especially the (ive been waiting for so long...and verbals rapping). Next is chronopsychology. The beat is alrite. Not too much vocals. Very long and drawn out (7:49!). Next song is L.O.T. I like this remix. It is not bad. Ten Below blazing is also good. It branches off from the interlude before it with the old angry man. Sounds really energetic. The beat is really good. In Deep Within it is made into a dance track. It sounds really good. The poem sounds even better with a dance beat to it. I like the jazziness to it near the end. In mirrorball satellite the remix is the same as the single. In hands it is kinda weird but cool. It is like an old workout video with a lady and then goes to the singing and rapping. Nice. In come back to me the beat is really good. kinda like a dance beat. next is L.O.T again and i think this is one of the best (next to been so long) the violen seems to replace the singing...it has a happy beat, perfect for an end to a very good cd. since it is also cheaper than a regular album it makes it even better : P

karolina's review Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
My favorite album ever since it came out, and it's been a while now. It's incredible and everyone, EVERYONE I know loves it. Even the pple who are totally against any kind of asian music. Even my rap-loathing boyfriend. Even my mother. And I'm all, QUIT HOGGIN' THE M-FLO MOM, IT'S MINE!! But the worst disappointment was, this was the first time i've ever heard m-flo. So afterwards, I bought all their other CDs and they didn't really measure up to that first one. Cause I couldn't adjust to the original sound of the songs. Oh, yeah, one of my friends didn't like it, but that was because he was used to the original songs and he couldn't adjust to the remixes. I guess it's the other side of the coin there. So, either get this CD and no other m-flo CDs ever, or get all of m-flo's CDs BUT this one.
