Best Touching Show I have seen

I cannot believe this was such a touching and emotional show I have ever watched...At the beginning I thought oh no this can't be happening with family incestation. But after perservering with the rest I ended up laughing, crying and getting tense with the storyline. This show is about inner beauty and beauty in the eye of the beholder.I am slow, I saw this before Meteor Garden but I have to say they are both really good. I have to say I love the songs, S.H.E Joe Cheng and all the other cast who took part. It's sooooo touching. hope all enjoys it who does get a chance to see it |

i agree
|
i agree that the rose is a very touching drama series there is happiness and sadness combine in one show. despite that kui and bai he can't be together but i think that it is okey because even in reality there is always one side willing to let go their love ones inorder to give happiness to others. i think in this world many lovers have been through the sitution like in " the rose " such as kui with bai he, kui with jin, jin with qin, their big sister with the comic writer, even their mother affair life. |

The series is so so. It is the overdone ugly duckling story retold. But the series is unusual and worth a look for its casting and themes. It is rare that a real ugly duckling is cast as heroine, instead of a pretty actress who dons thick rimmed glasses and huge stick-on brows to play ugly. The storyline is a bit twisted for a mainstream asian drama: incest, homosexuality, excessively long kissing scenes, but most of the drama is light hearted and PC enough for good fun. |

| I love it as much as Meteor Garden and i love Meteor Garden. It is extreamely funny and entertaining! it keeps me on my toes about what is going to happen next. I just know you shall love it too. |

the rose
| I had seen the Rose before but it was in Mandarin so I was not really able to understand the dialogue. Despite that dilemma, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the series just by looking at the nuances and the tone of voice they use. Even though I could not understand Mandarin, I was really caught up with the story. I especially like the camera angles and the cinematography that they utilized but I have wished that they have used a better angle for the house. I also spotted some remarkable performances like those of Ella, Jerry Wei and Hebe. It was a shame that Hebe only appeared in just a few episodes. Could there be a chance that producers would release the drama with English subtitles? |
