Gotta buy Japan Version
| Wow, I loved this CD so much. I bought the Sixth Day and thought that was great but this CD just made me love Gackt even more. I bought the Hong Kong version to save money. Loved it but not the packaging. The Sixth Day had a special case and I loved that. I saw the Japan version of Seventh Night in a store and it had the same packaging as my Sixth Day. The Hong Kong version just comes with a regular plastic case for any ordinary CD. No way am I going to settle for that. Buy Japan version, it is more but well worth it. |

it's good
it's good
| This was my first Gackt album and my introduction into his world.I was raised with old music, Classical and such, and my first singer was Barbra Streisand, so I thoroughly enjoyed this album. The people who give it bad reveiws don't understand the beautiful emotions that an acoustic song can have that more technical "rock" songs lack. Gackt is able to make every violin chord, every guitar strum, and every note ooze with emotion and love and attention that only he can give to his songs. This is an album all Gackt fans must have, and also a good introduction to him for fans of older music. |

Simply Amazing...
Simply Amazing...
| I'll be the first one to admit to usually being cynical towards acoustic albums... Keyword: Usually. After recieving this album as an Xmas present, I can fully assure anyone that my view has changed. Every song is familiar, yet entirely different and the new version of Last Song... Ah, too beautiful for words. I would recommend this album to anyone who loves Gackt's music! Another success! |

Masterful

After discovering Gackt a year ago, I have not been able to get enough of his music. His songs have accompanied me through the late nights at law school, and I am excited to hear more from him. The 7th Night album attests to his incredible gift he has in songwriting, composition, voice talent, and instrumental talents. He is what musicians should be, educated in their art and proliferous in their work. I cannot stress enough the beauty in lyrics and composition in his works. Those who do not appreciate this, I urge to truly examine his talents and music in order to gain a true appreciation for his genius. Another beautiful CD, which demonstrates Gackt's versitility, is Love Song. The lovely love ballads are composed like a true poet, in the masterful style that is Gackt. Enjoy! |

beautiful
| I will admit to being biased here, since I love Gackt more than live itself, but this album is just beautiful. Gackt's voice is so relaxing, its amazing. Any true Gackt fan must have this album. |

decent
| not one of gackt's best albums, but if you're a gackt fan that won't matter. i personally didn't think it was a bad album. to be honest, i was dissapointed at first, but the music is actually very calming so you may like it if you want a change in pace. mostly acoustic guitar, and most songs are slower paced. most re-done songs are slowed down and have had orchestrial make-over, but there are exceptions. but true, if you aren't a gackt fan this may not be for you, but only you can decide...i enjoyed it more everytime i listened to it, i guess you just have to have an appreciation for it. |

I bought this album from yesasia after reading all the good reviews, but got disappointed once I got it. When you hear the word "acoustic" and "unplugged," you tend to think it should sound live, clear, and beautiful with echos. This sounds more like a song that is halfway finished, with just the vocals. Basically, like a karaoke with a midi (acoustic guitar that sounds like a classic guitar) in the background which plays so lightly you can barely hear it. Then you have Gackt singing away with no echo, so it pretty much sounds like just him singing. Unless you're a serious GACKT fan who likes all the unique things about Gakt, I don't recommend this item for normal people. |

Worst agckt album
|
I previously bought this album when it first got released,i colelct all gackts album.but this album is so bad that i had to refund it.Gackt is such a talented singer, but his composing is awful after MARS album, the only track was good after MARS was secret garden & last song. If you guys only want a good compilation of gackts music get sixth days, seventh night isnt worth a penny,i hope love letter wont dissapoint me. |

Excellent. Just beautiful.

Gackt amazes me every time. The second of the two single CD's he has recently released, 'The Seventh Night' is a lovely arrangement of old songs, re-sung, and replayed in mainly acoustic guitar. This new style lends them an extremely relaxing, almost soothing vibe that's just wonderful. Nearly all the tracks are low-key and smooth, and the lack of loud instrumentals only accentuates the prefection of Gackt-sama's voice. Each song now has a deeper (or completely different) feel, and this causes much more emotional impact. Some may not be interested in this softer, less extravagant side of Gackt, but I can assure those who are that it is a truly wonderful CD. Give it a try. |
