Heir to one of Korea's largest corporations, young businessman Kim Jung Ho (Kim Hyun Joon) moves to China to head the Shanghai office after hitting some hard times in Korea. Jung Ho lived in Shanghai with his grandmother as a child, and has many fond memories of those ten years, particularly that of his first love Ming Ming. Returning to the city years later, Jung Ho is determined to confess his feelings to Ming Ming (Chen Zihan, Madame White Snake) whom he soon discovers is now a famous pop singer. To win Ming Ming back from her unscrupulous boyfriend and manager (Yuan Wenkang), Jung Ho decides to apply tactics from The Art of War to the battlefield of love. But not even Sun Tzu can help when he meets Ming Ming's cute and outspoken assistant Yu Xuan (Vivian Hsu).
