Better than expected. Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
Judging by the terrible, terrible Twins movies that I have seen (I'm looking at you Twins - Mission) I expected a brain numbing mess, happily I was mostly wrong.

The action is okay (although some of the wire fighting doesn't seem to connect right) and the effects are pretty fair and the fight between Donny Yen and Jackie Chan seemed like it was from a much better movie. The story doesn't really make much sense but is played with so much fun that you don't really notice and the 'Twins' are as usual as cute as a sack of puppies.

Mainstream enjoyable fluff.

Potential not realized Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
The beginning of this movie with the typical gender roles flipped seemed promising of a different story, but it was as if the writers realized it was going to get too complicated to continue, so anything inspiring was dropped to keep viewers interested. The only thing that kept me watching was the foreshadowing of a Jackie Chan cameo & a showdown between him & Donnie Yen. I felt I was left hung out to dry & that's so wrong.

Nice movie Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This is a must see movie. Nice kung-fu stunts. The effects they did is nice.

First time i've seen Gillian Chung in an action film. Suits her. Worth buying.

Interesting Adventure Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Comparing this one to the first one is like comparing banans with apples..
Its so much better in every area of filming.

The plot is more interesting, even though its nothing superior fancy. Characters are more interesting and the action is heavier and more of it aswell!

All in all, this is a film that gives you what HK cinema does best.. action and comic!

If you want to see one good adventure movie, check this one out!
Also the fight between Jackie and Donnie is aswsome!

Good movie Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
A very good movie. Very nice graphics, plot and action. The Twins did a good job, very nice performance. A well balanced storyline with action and humor. The only downside is that Jackie Chan were only in the movie for about 5 minutes. However, all in all, the movie is a must see!

Its a very over Dramatic film Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
The reason why i think its over dramaticling is that its making the plot of the film unrealistic, wel..maybe it isn't realistic... i still like the film though..although i thought it would follow on from the first film...i don't know what this specific item (DVD) of korean is like as i don't specifically have this one but i've seen the film though and its good

I was bored Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
I just wanna say that I like the first one.. I was so bored when I watched this movie.. even though, there are lots of great actors here.. by the way, some of the stories are funny too.. not recomended..the only reason I watched this movie was because of Daniel Wu.. and others actors too..

No vampires but still good! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Don't think for a moment that because "The Twins Effect II" does not have vampires that this isn't a good movie. It is a real good movie. Cast consists of Hong Kong legends: Jackie Chan and Donnie Yen. Also the Twins(of course), Jaycee Chan, Tony Leung K.F. and Daniel Wu are part of the cast. There is even a great fight scene with Jackie Chan fighting Donnie Yen. The Twins are just getting better and better. Bottom line: this is a good Hong Kong action comedy. Buy this movie along with "House of Fury", "New Police Story", "Leave Me Alone" and "Seoul Raiders" for some of the best action movies around right now.

false acting Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
I don't know what you ppl were drinking while watching this movie! But I can tell some of their lip movement doesn't match to the sound of their voices recorded in the film. It looks like they read the script at a studio then filmed the movie. It's mostly hocus pocus in my account. And Charlene spends half an hour into the movie asking bums if she's pretty. OH DEAR GOD! Is that some kinda press she's looking for? It's like, "Am I pretty? Listen to Twins!(that type of feeling). And it looks like they got alot of stunt doubles or whatever. Basically, through the whole movie they just act cool, giggly, flirtatious, and ask/do irrelevant things. If I wanted to see that, I would just watch one of their immature meaning videos. PERIOD! Please...no more TWINS films...it's not fair to real/ aspiring actors.
