Sharla Cheung makes a welcome return to the movie screen in The Two Individual Package Women, a modern urban drama about women facing difficult romantic choices. Sharla Cheung is Christy, a Hong Kong model who finds herself jerked around by men despite her status as a famous model. Dumped by her ladykiller boyfriend, Christy finds herself stuck between rich businessman Johnny (Cheung Wai) and DHL deliveryman (Patrick Tang). Neither fulfills her completely, but she can't choose to be alone, can she? Meanwhile, Helena (Elena Kong) is feeling neglected by her husband Jason (Sek Sau), who's spending all his time away from home and at the office. As the loneliness begins to consume her, she turns to a homely, but understanding married man (Alfred Cheung) for love and affection. Director Lau Kwok Fai brings a sensitive directorial hand to The Two Individual Package Women, and leading actresses Sharla Cheung and Elena Kong create emotionally sound, complex personalities for their undeniably real characters.
