　　"The Unwritten Law" is one of the most acclaimed works for Andy Lau. As a newcomer for the movie industry, he co-stared with one of the most experienced actress Deanie Yip and with his excellent and natural performance, he and Deanie had shown us the most touching and tear-drawing mother-and-son relationship. With a story talking about a low-class prostitute being framed to murder a young, rich businessman, it has voiced the condemn of the grass-root level towards the unfair treatment to them.

Great Movie!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is such a great movie! Talking about the love of mother, and very honest, respectable, hard worker son.. When Andy questions witnesses, it was really enjoyable! Whole sotry line was REALLY great as made in 1980's. Plus, young Andy Lau's acting was also great one, I think he did great job for acting in this movie!! Good job, Andy!

Long time ago when first time watch this movie in teather, I remember they make the sequel II and III. The story is good and sad as well. I don't know if YesAsia have the sequel for sale or not...but I will waiting for it.........

I remember watching this film when I was really young and I could remember how emotional this film was and I think this is probably one of Andy Lau's most serious film's.
