WOW
if you have not heard of Ayaka Hirahara, or only know her from her hit "Jupiter", i encourage to check this album out because that is not the only great song she has sung. every track on this album is great, much more entertaining than her first album. my favorites are "blessing chukufuku", "yume no tane", and "watashi wo yonde", which are very spiritual, uplifting songs that have the ability to bring tears to anyone's eyes. you HAVE listen to this album! |

She has THE Voice
This album does not fall short of brilliant. Every single track is enjoyable, and a lot of the boring/filler tracks found on her debut are nowhere to be found. Each track is exquisite! The new rendition of Ayaka Hirahara's greatest hit to date, "Jupiter", now renamed "The Voice" because of the new English lyrics has a new arrangment which is comparable to that of the original arrangment found on her debut album. I also found that her singing has improved on her sophomore album as her breathing sounds are less evident. I am in love with her song "i" which she penned herself, and also the song "Hello Again, Jojo" which is probably her least exposed and most under appreciated song ever. The quality of each song is extremely consistent unlike her debut which had several awesome pieces but then fluctuates to insanely boring songs. This CD is starting to remind me of old school Misia songs. All in all, this is one of the best CDs (not just JPOP) I've bought this year! |
