"The Way We Were" stars Barbara Streisand (Katie Morosky) and Robert Redford (Hubell Gardener), an unlikely pair to fall in love because they have different political views. Katie is a feisty, strong, political activist. Hubell is a White Anglo Saxon Protestant. They get into many arguments, but they engage in a passionate romantic relationship. Due to their political differences, they argue a lot and this makes it difficult for them to have a stable relationship. One day Hubell goes off to the military and this separates them for a while. But even with their political differences and him going off to the military, they are still in love with each other.

This is one of my favorite Barbara Streisand movies. I think she is a great actress and have always enjoyed watching her.
