An entertaining kung fu period comedy, THE WHITE DRAGON revolves around a noblewoman (Cecilia Cheung) possessing great martial arts skill. Nicknamed the "Little White Dragon," this talented fighter is the object of several men's fantasies. When one of her suitors, the crown prince, sends her off to seize a blind assassin (Francis Ng), White Dragon finds herself falling in love with her intended victim. Joining forces, White Dragon and the blind swordsman turn their weapons on the blind prince, who turns out to be up to no good.

I watched it again and I like it even more!!! It is SO funny!!! The end is kind of abrupt but it was great. I really like the part about the McDonald's bun [BLAA ;o)]. WATCH IT, IT IS WORTH THE MONEY!!!

The White Dragon was a great movie. VERY FUNNY. TWO THUMBS UP FOR ALL WHO ENJOY COMEDY & WUXIA!!! I thought that this movie was very funny especially the part about the chicken toy.

Nothing special... Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
After a "somewhat" interesting beginning and some clever early jokes, the movie just goes downhill because of the slow pacing (there's barely any good jokes after the first 20 mins.). I accept the '90s "wire-fu" effects, but the movie just dragged tooo long in the middle. Maybe I just didn't feel a good connection being made between Cecilia and Francis. You're better off renting this and save your money on a better movie purchase.

This is an Awsome Movie!
its not supposed to be about Kung fu mainly - its a comedy & a very funny one
this movie has it all, some cool fighting,
Funny script, Cute chinese girls, romance & drama,
its just a good movie - i think.
if you like Kung fu movies, or Chinese comedy,s
or Both you should watch this.

Fooled Again Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
If you're looking for an amazing Kung Fu movie with smart comedy...this is not the movie for you.
How many times am I going to be suckered into buying a HK movie that looked cool but ended up to be utterly riddiculous?? Sigh, sadly, this is another one. The movie is ok and would have been good if it wasn't for the stupid slap-stick comedy that HK directors try to do all the time. This movie is a reminder of all the bad early 90s teeny bopper movies with Aaron Kwok, Jimmy Lin, and Nicky Wu. What a waste of talent. Francis Ng, is one of my favorite actors and the main reason why i got the movie and the main reason why this movie was some what tolerable. If i could get my money back, I would.
