YesAsia Editorial Description
This 1989 drama about institutionalized teenage delinquents cast a quartet of beautiful young actresses - Irene Wan and "Happy Girls" Loletta Lee, Fennie Yuen, and Charine Chan - against type in "girls gone wild" roles. In the movie, one of them has violent tendencies, one runs away from home, two trade their bodies for money, and none of them seems to have any hope for a future - not until ardent social worker Sandy, played by Olivia Cheng in one of her last film roles, takes up a job at the girls' home as their guardian. Co-directed by David Lam and Francis Sung, this inspirational story is written by Nam Yin (Prison on Fire and Woman Prison), and co-stars the great Simon Yam as Sandy's considerate boyfriend.

Product Information
Director: Francis Sung, David Lam
Social worker Sandy (Olivia Cheng) emigrated to USA with her father when she was young. Although she was very committed to her job, she still felt socially discriminated as a Chinese. She decided to come back to Hong Kong. Sandy worked in a girls' home in Hong Kong, and she was confronted with four problematic cases. Mildred (Loletta Lee), the daughter of a millionaire, injured her father's girlfriend accidentally and was convicted. Jane (Irene Wan) was put in the girl's home because she ran away from her family many times. Kam (Fennie Yuen) and her good friend, Smart Ass (Chan Ka Ling) were young prostitutes. Sandy was friendly to all of them and was accepted as a friend. Sandy discovered that Kam's mother was in fact her mother and Kam is her step-sister. When dealing with Kam, she was totally perplexed under the mixed feeling. Sandy's probation period was almost finished. Her boyfriend John wanted her to go back to USA. This was resolved when John decided to come to Hong Kong to work and marry Sandy. At the wedding, the four girls were the bride's maids.

Cool movie!
| A really good film released in 1989. My eyes never blinked throughout the whole movie, which is clear that it was really better than good. Die hard fans of these types of movie have got a recommendation from me that they should buy it at once! I've nothing more to say, but I conclude that this movie is not to be missed. |
