Inspired by a real amorous relationship, this somber, disturbingly subtle story reveals the beauty and destructive toll of passion. Bernard is a married navigation trainer whose life turns into upheaval when his former lover Mathilde unwittingly rents a neighbouring house with her husband. The accidental reunion finally leads to a tragedy, as two former lovers fail to recover from their self-destructive affair and move on with their lives.
