I watched this series when I was younger and was extremely excited to find out TVB decided to re-release it in full on DVD with English subtitles.

Unfortunately no re-mastering was done, so video and audio quality are not the best - there are even signs of film deterioration, you can see faint marks in several scenes. However this should not make the story any less enjoyable.

I watched this movie a long time ago, and now i want to watch it again bu TOO BAD they don't have any english subtitles on it. Dear yesasia don't you know that you can sell much-much more if you have it in english subtitles (definetly I Will buy it first), and including the movie called chor lau hung (miu kiu wai version), PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE.......dying to buy this 2 movies

 I love this series. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
It´s a great TVB-series, but it´s very short. Great cast and performances. I got this series on VHS, it´s in black and white. It had color when we recorded it. But we´ve worn it out, by watching it too many times. I´ve bought this product, and I´m a little disappointed. The picture´s not clear, not even close. They´ve cut several scenes (approximately 20 minutes), some were important. Why can´t they release this series on DVD, with English subtitle and uncut? I would definitely buy it. If you haven´t seen this series before, then you should buy it. It´s not that expensive. It´s worth it.

Ah this was so so..anyway ok but then not much kungfu in it am afraid..well..that is all i can say...u can buy it if u wish but then it is better than watching english tv

I really like the story line. I also like the acting in this. But this story could be longer. the only thitng I don't like is that Tony's chararicter died a bit too evil and sad.

plenty of humour and fights, most enjoyable. would have been nice to see how all the couples got together and how the yang family got to the position they were at. it feels like the series have been cut short, would have been much better extended in some areas, explaining some of the characters in more detail. it's a must see kinda series.

Include the making of the series Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
TVB should also enclose the making of the yang saga. It would be fun to watch the mistake that they made and the pressure of so many stars all in this series. They aslo talk about how the couple were set up. It would be interesting to know.
