Around a year after his debut release, singer/songwriter Khalil Fong further established his reputation by composing the song "Grand Love" for Andy Hui's 2005 album In The Name Of.... Now, he is here to present This Love, the follow-up album to his Mando-pop CD Soul Boy. Once more unveiling his fine sense of R&B, fans can look forward to 13 tracks including the titular song (Track 1), as well as a remix of his debut album tune "Spring Breeze" (Track 13).

The special edition comes with a DVD consisting of 4 MVs for his new songs in a digi-package.

Really Nice Stuff Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The first song I heard from Khalil Foong was Ai Ai Ai, and it was reeeaally nice and soothing to listen to. After I previewed a few of his songs on his site, I really wanted to get this CD.

The songs in this album are really fun to listen to. His style of music is kind of different than what you would normally hear in some other popular Chinese songs. Maybe it's because there's a lot of R&B in it. But that makes it cool~ =D "If You Leave Me Now" is entirely English, and it sounds very calming. But then the good stuff like "Goodbye Melody Rose" or track 10 are louder. However, all the songs in the album are quite enjoyable.

There are some of the MVs Khalil is in. They are pretty good, and you get to hear his others songs from his first album!

This worth buying. The music is great~

Khalil Fong's "This Love" is one of the best and most soulful albums I have heard in many months. Tracks 1 through 10 are a tour de force of contemporary urban stylings. The music ranges from R&B to hip hop to smooth jazz to an amazing impersonation of Elvis Presley! There seems to be no vocal style that Fong can't handle with ease. The songs are beautifully crafted gems, the playing is crisp, and the singing is flawless. Whether you are driving around town or kicked back in your home, "This Love" provides soothing, soulful accompaniment. I highly recommend it.

Khalil is one of the few HK singer-songwriters who actually sufficiently satisfy the "singer" portion of that title!

His music is sooo R&B, which is hard to find in Cpop in general since R&B isn't a particularly popular genre in the C-music scene. Since he's still fairly new, it might be hard to say, but I think he has the potential to give Jay a run for his money!

The title track is still my favourite, but overall, the songs flow into each other very well. Even though they are mostly slow or mid-tempo, I didn't find that this album was just a compilation of "boring ballads" at all. In fact, the songs, in general, were pretty refreshing and interesting. "If You Leave Me Now" is another one of my favourites, that leaves me breathless after it plays.

I have yet to purchase his debut album, but this album alone as solidified my fan status for Khalil Fong!

Khalil is a very awesome singer. It's a pity he isn't popular like Justin is. When I first listened to his first album, I was like what is this? As I listened to it more and more, it grew on me. The reason why I had that thought at first because I've never listened to this type of music in Hong Kong before. This is a first, it really gives Cantonese music a little something.

I love "This Love". All the songs are really capturing and is worth buying!

I love this CD Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
At first, I didn't like this CD as much as the first one...but after a few listens, I absolutely adore it. Khalil's voice never ceases to amaze me. He is just simply amazing. The Peter Cetera song seemed a bit out of place to me at first...and still seems to be for me, at least, but his rendition is very nice. My favorites: tracks 1, 5.
