Starring Park In Hwan as the Kim family patriarch and Ahn Nae Sang (Swallow the Sun), Oh Dae Gyu (First Wives Club), and Lee Joon Hyuk (City Hall) as the eponymous siblings, Three Brothers revolves around a retired police officer and his three very different sons. Oldest son Gun Kang has experienced many trials and failures including bankruptcy and divorce. Second son Hyun Chal is a successful businessman. The youngest, Yi Sang, is a police officer who married a convict's daughter. Three Brothers' depiction of family conflicts, mishaps, and relationships struck a great chord with audiences. The drama reached viewership rating of over 40% to become one of the highest-rated dramas of the year.

故事是以金巡警家三兄弟為中心。金巡警有三個兒子，大兒子叫金健康，二兒子叫金現金，三兒子叫金理想。

長子健康結婚多年，不但瞞著家人跟老婆離婚，事業也無起色，而且還愛上了一個離過婚、又有一個兒子的女人。

老二現金很會賺錢，但妻子很想跟公婆分家，把照顧公婆的責任交棒給大媳婦，這個提議讓婆婆堅決反對，婆媳之間產生了一連串的嫌隙。

從警察大學畢業的么子理想，通過了檢察官的考試，但還是選擇做警官，他接的第一宗案子是去店家勸解一對分手男女的糾紛。

事件女主角是富家女朱玉影，她的男友移情別戀，氣憤的她在店裡與男友大鬧‥‥最後，理想竟然愛上了這個胡鬧的女人。
