　　上世紀70年代末北方某農場，生性頑劣的幹部子弟雷雷（鄧超飾）邂逅被污破鞋的美麗女知青葉青兒（孫儷飾），兩人不打不成交，開始一段兩小無猜的純潔友誼，由此暗生情愫，對鄧麗君《甜蜜蜜》的共同喜愛使兩人青澀的愛情開始萌動。

　　青兒返城上了醫學院，雷雷去高考落榜成了待業青年，兩人地位有了顯著差距，關係也起了微妙變化；雷雷雖然出身高干家庭，但從小下放農場無人管教，生性頑劣野性叛逆，當他意識到自己愛上青兒時，便開始大膽頑強的追求。因父親曾被打成右派，自己又經歷不堪往事的青兒則保守很多，青兒是一個情感備受壓抑，有心理陰影的女孩兒，她對雷雷心懷好感，但沉重的思想負擔以及保守的家庭和社會環境，但沉重的思想負擔以及保守的家庭和社會環境，使她不敢接受雷雷大膽直接的愛情。因此她一直頑強抵抗著雷雷的愛情攻勢。
