One of my favorites... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I should have reviewed this a long time ago. Even though this is Tim's first album, it is EXCELLENT. He had an excellent start as a korean vocalist.

I got into him because I'm a fan of DBSK. I kept hearing Junsu sing his songs and got interested in Tim. I grew to love all of Tim's albums, but his first album just leaves this impact on you.

His voice is SO touching. He's from america and his father is a pastor, so you can hear the christian vocal backgrounds in his songs. The best tracks are: 1, 8, and 9. He is the most excellent Ballader!

A gifted vocalist! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
After not listening to Korean pop music for so many years, I feel lucky to come across his first album. He is surely a gifted vocalist. His songs are overflowing with emotions. This is a remarkable feat considering that Korean is his second language. The track #9 "Bye Bye Love" almost brought tears to my eyes. I was whole-heartedly impressed that he was able to put such incredible amount of emotions into the language that he is not completly comfortable with. I am now eagerly anticipating his next album. Can't wait!

Truly an artist Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I had the album because i am curious about the reviews but true enough...he is atalent. Personally, it would be hard for a non korean to appreciate because you don't really understand the lyrics, but as soon i heard his first song that went to the last song. An incredible voice...a must buy.

Praise for the Westerner! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This album is right on the money. Whomever discovered Tim picked the right path for him--to be a balladeer.

This album tried to pull off some gimmicks (did you see the hair?) that were absolutely unnecessary. Of course, I say this now in hindsight. It's tough being a rookie and risks must be taken in order for one to get more popular, recognized, and eventually accepted. Therefore, I don't blame his PRs then.

Lucky for Tim, his talent overshadowed everything else and he now has a dazzling career ahead of him, due to his excellent singing ability and maturity.

All The Songs are GREAT! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Newcomer Tim blew away all expectations with this, his first smashing success of an album. All the songs are great, with no songs showing weaknesses. Unlike many of the male vocalists that have come along in the Korean entertainment field in the past 5 years, Tim has unquestioned vocal range and talent. He can ACTUALLY sing, unlike many of the "supposed" talents like the singer Seven. Everyone should have this CD in their collection.

damn, to the people who reviewed Tim before me, you guys act like hes a god or something. To me, hes just another single with yet another slow song. I really dont care wheres hes from or what he has accomplished in his life. Hes like any other person I know.

PS. You guys need to get out more and stop obsessing about some mediocre guy that barely has any talent.

not just a great singer... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I fell in love with Tim the first time I saw his music video of his title song "I Love You." After searching about him on the internet, I found out that he came to Korea to become a singer just a couple years ago from Pennsylvania. This made me get more interested in him. Through various tv shows, I got to know what kind of a person he is. To cut it short, Timothy YoungMin Hwang is an AMAZING person. He has the best personality you could imagine, and never takes advantage of his fame. Another thing, Tim is good at almost anything. He was a part of a school choir and performed at Carnegie Hall. He plays the piano, drums, and saxiphone without any lessons. He was the conductor for his high school marching band. He even got scouted and trained to be a model. And did I mention that he is incredibly smart? ^^ Timmy accomplished all that before his first day of school in Temple college in Pennsylvania. Even though he has all these talents, he never brags or takes advantage of people. When you see him sing praise songs, he looks like an angel from heaven. *-* It's been 5 months since I got to know him, but I feel like I've loved him for eternity. I wish him the best of luck so that he can affect much more people with his beautiful voice and heart when he comes back with his new album. Until that time, I'll always pray for Tim and his health. If you get to know Tim, you'll love him too... Support him by buying his CD. I mean this when I say, "You won't regret it!" More than anything, I love Tim because of his love for life and God. I was thinking of making this comment short, but I guess that's not possible when I'm talking about Tim...
