...WOW~... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have been a fan of Mai-K for a while...since the early days when I got into J-pop. Mai's music is absolutely wonderful and she shocked me when she released this single. "Time After Time ~Hanamau Machi De~" is not only my favorite song by Mai ever, but it's her best song. This song have a soft beat to it that will take you away with beautiful, vivid lyrics. Mai-K really presented her talent in lyric writing with this song. For example, she uses the image of flower petals whirrling and scattering, symbolizing the disperse relationship of the couple in the song. One of my many favorite lines from the song is "...I don't need anymore promises" after waht has happened. This song really touched my heart and earned my tears.

Excellent! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This song is summed up in one work, excellent. It's very catchy and doesn't have that annoying catchiness to it. I can see why it was chosen to be the theme song for the drama.

Why everyone love Mai so much? Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Well, it is the first song that I heard from Mai and it is one of my favourite, but when I heard the others songs, I was very disappointed, her vocals are good, ahd she can become better, but her songs are not very good and most of them are simple..Time after time is not so great too!

Great Song!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Time after time is a great song! I think this is one of Mai's best singles. Usually it takes me a while to get used to her songs but this one just caught my attention right when I first heard it. It has a great new melody and sets it apart from any other songs.

Stop expecting prodigial work Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Mai is NOT Hikki or ELT. She doesn't have the best composer. The lyrics, which she writes herself, are actually not too bad. She also has her own relaxed, subtle style. If you find it boring, just don't buy her CDs and being so critical just because you expected something else. If you like her style, this is a slight break in style from her other work, but still in the same spirit. I happen to enjoy Mai's work, and this isn't her best, but still good enough to satisfy me. At least some people must agree since this single scored WAY above Namie's on the Oricons.
(come on, 3rd against 9th? I expected more competition!)

Great song: stop putting such high expectation for Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I am a HUGE Kuraki Mai's Fan, and I have every CDs(albums and singles) of Mai. I know that this song is not nearly as good as any of her other songs, but it is still a great song. We need to stop putting such high expectation for Mai. It will just putting more pressure on her and might cause her to lose her confidence and not be able to produce anymore good music(like Blind Melon in the US, just to name an example). It is rare now-of-days to even have any musican to be able to produce great songs one after another. "Time After Time Hanamau Machi De" is a sub-par song for Mai, but it is a great song in most standard. If you want to listen to a good love song, this is the one.

Not that bad... Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This single wasn't that bad after all as opposed to those who found the song boring and unattractive. In my opinion, it's not boring at all. I especially like the sound of the guitar and the background singing "time after time". Mai did a great job in performing the song. There were also additional instruments used which enhanced the music even more, which I found very attractive because it gave a calm and soothing feel. The 2nd track, "naturally" sounds more like the R&B style Mai sings. This was a very soothing and calm song also. She sounds very encouraged and in a natural tone. The rap at near 3mins of the song was very unique because of her light/soft voice in the background. This is a very nice single and shows that Mai is capable of performing with gentleness as always.

Keep it up, YesAsia Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
I can't believe YesAsia has found someone this critical to review CDs. The review of Lewis Tse for this particular product is very accurate and useful. I prefer having some more "subjective" reviews than other pointless exercises of CD descriptions. Keep it up, YesAsia.
