Simply Lovely Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I recently received this album and I have to say how much I enjoy it. Angela has a rich, beautiful voice that is pleasant to listen to. Her piano playing is also exceptional. Depending on the song, Angela goes from upbeat and fun (like 5. Tashika ni) to mellow and relaxing (1. Sakura-iro). I enjoy many of her songs included on this compilation; the only reason I gave 'Today' a 9/10 is that there are a few songs I inevitably always like to skip over. However, overall the CD is chock full of good material that is more than listenable. There's even an English-language song included (13. Surrender) that showcases Angela's multilingual heritage and talents.

The DVD that comes with this edition has a total of 8 videos--including official music videos, live performances, and makings of the music videos and the album itself. I was surprised and pleased at how much was included. I feel I should say to potential buyers: be aware that the DVD is all Japanese language with no subtitles; yet even though I am not fluent in Japanese, I still was able to enjoy it.

I highly recommend 'Today' to those who want to listen to something that is excellent, mature music but not quite mainstream Jpop.
