Think "The Reflecting Skin"... Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
Decent flick, but not enough creepy effects. This movie isn't even really scary, but it keeps your interest. Annoying and over-used background music trys to add suspense and shock which the film does not deliver. Overall though it's not bad, but don't expect anything more than an American-style, low budget B-movie.

not bad not great! Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
initially i thought this movie was so so, it was slow to get moving and i was hoping it would be more scary than it actually was, i did enjoy certain scenes, like when the bully girls came to the house and met the father that was great, and the effects were ok....

The Final Chapter Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
This is the 4th release of the popular "Tomie" horror series. Supposedly this is the last sequel according to Junji Ito (the original creator of Tomie). I personally think that the original comic/manga series was way better than the movie series that they brought to the big screen. However, I do think there are limitations that a movie can not do as well as what a comic can represent. This movie is probably the least interesting of the all four Tomie(s) in my opinion. The story continues to follow the tales of the misterious "Tomie" but no dramatic changes on the plot development it's like watching something that you already had seen from the few previous sequels. However, I found the main lead actress Nozomi Ando was the best fit by portraying "Tomie" out of the other three different actresses from the previous releases. Young actress was everything that I expected to see Tomie on the big screen after comparing with charater from the original comic/manga series. Anyhow, I would only give this movie a "mediocre" rating.
