YesAsia Editorial Description

Top on the Forbidden City is a dynamic and inspiring youth drama about a group of aspiring hip hop dancers. The series is produced by Chen Yu Shan, who previously brought viewers the hit dramas At the Dolphin Bay and MVP Lover, and stars K-One members JR, Gino, Kido, Darren, and Li Yang. Sam Wang and Zax Wang of 5566 also make appearances in the drama.

Talented Qing Tian is determined to get into the prestigious dance group Royal, but he ends up rivaling the group's lead dancer, both in hip hop and in love. Persistent in pursuing his goal, Tian begins a hip hop street dance team to compete with Royal and soon gets recognition for his skills. He eventually gets invited into Royal, but that's when the real competition begins.

dancing movies have been seen a lot through out the US industry but a seris that revovles around dancing is really rare. This Taiwan series has prooven that it works! the efforts of K One and the whole JStar family arent hard to see. they can come together and pull of a daring idea. this series is touching, teaches a lot and all around a fun series to watch.

Top on The Forbidden City is a story that best ever i never seen.....K1 is the first time act i tink their acting are goo....K1 n Ceng Zhi Qiao work harder....i lik Tian Xie n Xiao Ying thy are verysuitable to be bf n gf in tis story...i hop mor people will love this story....

A Great Series Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Just the sight of the teaser of the series before it was aired last May, I had an inkling that this series will be good. And it didn't fail me. As soon as it was aired, the first few episodes were good and you'll soon realize that you're getting hooked with it. I just love how K-one, Sam, Nancy and Joanne danced in the series! They're all SO GOOD!!! Plus it had a PERFECT ENDING that I was expecting....You'll never regret watching or even buying this series! REALLY WORTH IT!!! I just hope yesasia would release a version with english subtitle of it. I'll be looking forward to that!
