Very Good To Excellent!

I am a new Dir en grey fan and so I have a lot of catching up to do. :) This DVD package has excellent video quality that I think is the best that I've watched recently among the band's four concert DVDs. However, I'm not sure if this is the DVD that you should get if you're more interested in Kyo's singing. The tracks are mainly from the Vulgar album, one of my favorite albums by Dir en grey and they are mainly rocks. You won't be able to hear the beautiful singing by Kyo as compare to other concerts. I don't know if it's me or it's the sound quality. The tracks kind of sound the same after a while. But, don't give up because the band's playings are excellent. They are wonderful musicians and absolutely among the best. So, you get to see the band perform at one of its best concerts. I like Kyo in his sports jacket at fractions of the time in this DVD which combines 2 concerts together. (Please read all the reviews on the Limited Version of this concert.) I think Kyo hurt himself on the lips (?) and the editing of the DVD just switched to another concert to give a better look of Kyo. Actually, Kyo's look is more presentable when he wears a shirt or jacket because his tattoos will distract you a bit. lol! If you don't mind his grunge, punk or visual kei looks, he is absolutely a wonderful singer. Oh, there is also a handsome guitarist. I don't know if he plays the bass or the regular one, but he is very good looking. I'm a really bad fan because I haven't figured out all their names yet. :) |

This is my favourite Live DVD and I own quite a lot. Ive watched this at least 10 times and Im still not bored with it yet and Im pretty sure I never will be. Vulgar is my favourite album by Diru so it was a fair bet that I was going to love this too! I think Dir en Grey are out-standing live...their music is so tight and exciting and you cannot take your eyes off Kyo...or the hot guitar licks. Smashing stuff and a must-buy for any Diru fan. ENJOY!!! |

| This is a must buy for every Dir en grey fan! I didn't expect anything when ordering this item, because it was my first Diru DVD. Now I'm hooked!!! I love it I love it I love it. Their live performances sound and look awesome and there is also some funny and cute parts that you cannot watch without laughing. ANYWAY I rated this item 9 because the backstage parts are too short...! ;) Go and buy, I would have paid even more for it. |

Brilliant DVD, as long as you like the recent Dir en Grey. This DVD shows them so mature now, especially Kyo - his body and his voice now are both so powerful. His voice is amazing. And -fukai- fans? Do enjoy the Vulgar[ism] -fukai- ^-^. "The Code of the Vulgar[ism]" = worth every penny |
